The Mercy Life
Mercy has been the defining word of my life; mercy unmerited, mercy unbounded, mercy ever true. When I was down and out, I should have drowned in the pit ... but the LORD saved me and lifted me up. I've learned about mercy from the Bible, from Pentecostals, from Catholics, from Baptists, but mostly from God. Mercy meets the needs of those it can help, as one minister says - it is God's supply system to bring goodness to those who need it (which is all of us).

* God showed mercy when I rebelled against Him;
* God shows me mercy every day;
* God shows mercy to my family;
* We can pray mercy into the lives of others; here is a suggested prayer by Rex Andrews. I have put in the name *Kendra* as a generic example of how you use this special prayer. Feel free to put any person's name or group of people or family.
Mercy Prayer
1) Lord, I thank You for Kendra.
I thank You for saving her. Thank you for what You have done and are doing in her life.
2) Make Kendra to know Jesus more. Help her to increase in the knowledge of God. Destroy speculation and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and help her to bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ.
3) Make Kendra poor in spirit. Bring her down Lord, but please do it gently. Help her to see their neediness. Help her to see themselves in light of You. Put her in their rightful place Lord.
4) Fill Kendra with Your Holy Spirit. Immerse her in Your Spirit Lord. Come to them in power and in might.
5) Life Kendra.
Life her according to Thy loving-kindness. Pour out Your life giving mercies into her soul.
6) Bless Kendra. Lord, bless her in everything she touches. Bless her spiritually, physically, and financially. Bless their loved ones. Do for her Lord, instead of me.
7) Mercy Kendra.
Flood her with need-filling mercies. Pour them out in super abundance. Find and meet every need in her life as You see it Lord.
